TRAINING ACTION: Improving environmental performance and energy savings in the manufacture of ceramic products

28-29 November 2024

Knowing the current state of the art in environmental matters, energy efficiency and the technologies and resources potentially applicable to the ceramic industry for the reduction of energy consumption and CO2 emissions is essential to increase the competitiveness of the industry, and its alignment with the Roadmap for the Decarbonisation of the Sector.

Therefore, it is essential that the personnel of the sector have general knowledge about aspects related to the environment and energy savings; the origin of some of the environmental impacts associated with the stages of the life cycle of ceramic products, and the corrective measures and/or good practices to reduce these impacts and improve the environmental performance of production plants.

With the development of the training action, the student will be able to learn about the energy saving options in the manufacturing process of ceramic products, the influence of the process variables on energy consumption, and analyze the application of new technologies to the ceramic sector to reduce the environmental impact associated with the manufacturing of these construction products.

Modality:

Mixed: The student, when registering, can choose to follow the classes in person or via streaming.

The face-to-face training will be carried out at the NOTIO-CTAC facilities (Calle Río Cabriel s/n – Toledo)
The classes will be broadcast via streaming. The recording of the training sessions will be hosted in the virtual training classroom on the NOTIO website, so that registered students can access the recording at any time.

The documentation of the training action will be hosted in the virtual classroom with exclusive access for the student. At the end of the training course, a 6-week period will open during which the student will be able to communicate directly with the teacher, in order to resolve any queries regarding the course content or regarding the direct application in their company of the knowledge acquired in the course.
